Title
Southern Faction Claims Bakassi Killings.
Abstract
The article focuses on the claim of a group, which calls itself Liberators of the Southern Cameroons, that it is responsible for killing 21 Cameroonian soldiers in Bakassi in November 2007. Niger Delta Forces, a Nigerian-based insurgent group, had initially been blamed for the massacre. Reports also claimed that fellow Cameroonian soldiers killed 21 soldiers following charges of illegal arms trade with the Niger Delta Forces.
