- Abstract
This research is concerned with the study of the Islamic miniature ethnography, which was the result of the relationship of the sacred represented by religion and the art that embodies this sacred through the art of Islamic photography in miniatures. . As this research consists of four chapters, came the first chapter represented by the methodological framework, in which we dealt with the research problem through the following question: Did the Islamic miniature have an iconography of its own? The importance of the research is that it highlights how miniature painting formed an iconography for itself, and the extent to which it was affected by other arts. The second chapter, represented by the theoretical framework, dealt with two sections, the first dealing with the concept of the icon and the historical iconography, and the second the Islamic miniature and its characteristics in drawing with indicators for this theoretical framework. The research and discussion, then conclusions, recommendations and suggestions and a list of proven sources and references to reach the research goal, which is to identify the Islamic miniature iconography.
