Abstract
The article reports that Little Ice Age was the coldest stages of the postglacial period in the Northern Hemisphere, which spanned from the early 14th to the mid-19th centuries associated with the weakening of the subpolar gyre, over the North Atlantic, linked to unusually high solar activity.
