The article presents an analysis of the key provisions of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) which balance intellectual property (IP) rights of users. It mentions the challenges associated in the creation of data protection and privacy of IP. It states the concerns of European Union (EU) authorities on the proposed measures on ACTA.
