- Abstract
This article discusses the cosmological crisis concerning the duct-taped side of the moon in association to religion in the U.S. The author notes that the practice of religion is easily found in the country's public schools. She considers these schools as the carriers of civil religion, reinforcing prevalent cultural ideals and behaviors. She points out that religion is even reflected and assembled by their core curriculum in writing, reading and arithmetic. She contends that the protection of the separation of church and state doctrine relies upon the thoughts confining religion into historical movements that need restraint.
