The article focuses on issues surrounding the constitutionality of regime making smart guns technology mandatory in the U.S with reference to several court cases. Topics discussed include the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in case District of Columbia v. Heller that addressed the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment, the U.S Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit's decision in case Jackson v. City and County of San Francisco.
