- Abstract
The article discusses the successful use of SCUBA divers in eradicating a colonizing population of zebra mussels in Lake George, New York. It states that a comprehensive management programme for zebra mussels has been created after the 1999 discovery of the presence of mussels in Lake George. Moreover, 21,000 animals are removed from the site between 1999 and 2007 and over 90% after the discovery of the colony.
