- Abstract
We present the results of modeling of the microwave field and specific absorbed-power (absorption rate) distributions in a sample of magnetic fluid with various concentrations of inclusions. The effective parameters of this heterogeneous system were calculated using the Maxwell-Garnett and Bruggeman phenomenological theories of an effective homogeneous medium.
