- Abstract
The article reports on studies that attempt to find out the nature of photochemically stimulated anti-stokes luminescence (SASL) in ionic covalent crystal such as AgHal crystal. It is stated that exposure to ultraviolet irradiation leads to modification of the surface of AgCl(I) microcrystals causing SASL spectra. The study concludes that the SASL intensity is related to a photostimulated formation of nanostructures containing ionic covalent crystals.
