- Abstract
The article examines the legal and social conditions of indigenous peoples in Uganda including the Benet, Batwa, and Karamojong. It discusses violent conflicts in the Karamoja region of Uganda involving the Karamojong people before covering the Land Amendment Bill that could allow the government to acquire indigenous lands. Other topics covered include human rights abuses, wildlife policies, and policies to assist the Batwa people.
