- Title
One hundred years of solitude: integrating single-strain inoculations with community perspectives in the legume-rhizobium symbiosis.
- Authors
Friesen, Maren L.; Heath, Katy D.
- Abstract
The article offers the authors' views on the study conducted by E. T. Kiers and colleagues regarding the potential problems of single-strain inoculation. They argue on the findings of the study that fitness alignment can be considered as consequence of the methods used in the analysis. They state that the study revealed that the differences in nodulation speed could be associated to the positive correlations of nodulation competitiveness and plant performance in the study by Maren L. Friesen .
