- Title
'INTERCOMMUNION' A TERMINOLOGICAL PROBLEM.
- Authors
Vajta, Vilmos
- Abstract
The author focuses on a theological orientation for seeking alternative terms for "intercommunion." He states that the term should not be used to denote fellowship between churches of the same confessional family. "Inter-celebration" is used for churches that do not share full communion with each other but willing to accept ministers from separated churches at eucharistic celebrations. Ecclesiological distinctions relating to eucharistic communion between divided churches is also considered.
