- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on the long-term signal of disturbance in Fucus gardneri after the Exxon valdez oil spill in Prince William Sound, Alaska. Topics discussed include washing with high-pressure hot water, relative to sites that had experienced neither oil nor cleanup activities, reduced Fucus cover due to toxic effects of oil and cleanup, and plant-herbivore coupling.
