- Abstract
The article discusses the Myositis Physical Activity Device (MyoPAD) Study which recruited adults with idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM) via the specialist neuromuscular clinic at Salford Royal Hospital in England. Topics include participants of the study, the occurrence of patient-reported IIM flares alongside work absenteeism and reduced work productivity, and importance of adequate medical therapy and disease control to minimising disease flares.
