- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the role of the recovery of historically realistic Jesus and the incarnation of discipleship in the new paradigm of just peacemaking. The author explores the book "Just Peacemaking: The New Paradigm for the Ethics of Peace and War," in which the authors show actual effectiveness of 10 practices of just peacemaking for the prevention of wars. He also discusses the story of Cain and Abel in the Old Testament and the adversaries of Jesus in making peace.
