- Abstract
This study was developed seeking to understand part of the experience and behavioral adequacy of LGBTQIA+ subjects in the city of Juiz de Fora (MG). We aimed to know how individuals' body spatiality is reproduced differently when moving throughout different spaces in the city, taking into consideration the influence of heteronormativity in spatial relationships. To achieve this aim, we carried out a literature review and seven semistructured interviews with LGBTQIA+ people residing in the city. The data collected provided us with everyday examples of how aspects unnoticed by people who occupy privileged categories can prevent the existence of others in certain spaces.
