- Abstract
By investigating the development status of three major Chinese education institutions in Quebec of Canada, namely, universities, Confucius Institutes (Classrooms) and Chinese schools, it is found that the Chinese education institutions in the region are well-organized, the curriculum system is relatively complete mainly with non-credit courses, and have formed characteristics in class teaching and immersive teaching. In view of the problems existing in Chinese education in the region in terms of teachers, teaching resources, language and culture propaganda, online Chinese teaching, etc., it is proposed to construct a local teacher training model, promote the localization process of Chinese teaching resources, optimize Chinese culture promotion strategies, improve the level of online Chinese education, and create a new pattern of Chinese education.
