- Abstract
A response is provided to the article "Trends in gamma-hydroxybutyrate-related harms based on ambulance attendances from 2012–2018 in Victoria, Australia" by S. Arunogiri and others which appears in a 2020 edition of the journal, and it mentions the surveillance of drug use patterns. The emergency management of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) overdose symptoms is examined, along with hospital admission rates and length of stay data for emergency department patients.
