- Title
Learning from a Laureate: Dr. David E. Card.
- Authors
Neymotin, Florence
- Abstract
In a world that has become unnecessarily complicated, Professor Card's down-to-earth, rooted approach to economics has gifted researchers with simpler and more powerful methodologies that are appropriate for answering today's pressing questions. A second example of Professor Card's interest in his students' development came in what was, for me, a terrifying moment. On October 11, 2021, Professor David E. Card was announced as a winner of The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, which is usually just called the Nobel Prize in Economics.
