The article provides an insight about how the hip-hop culture is associated with a feminine creative process by looking at the variety of styles it encompasses. It looks at the reluctance of hip-hop music to respect women, feminine sensibilities, and emotional intelligence, and its casualties that acted out through the acts of misogyny. Further, it emphasizes the unrecognized contribution of women its shaping the history and legacy of the American popular music.
