- Abstract
Filter media, which is key for ultra-low dust emission, has been successfully applied in many industries. In recent years, as a new direction of flue gas cleaning, carbon capture puts forward a stricter requirement for flue gas cleanliness. On the premise of not adding secondary filtration, the ultra-clean filter media is bound to become a new hotspot in the field of carbon capture. Based on the analysis of the performance characteristics of the existing filter media and in view of the new requirements of the carbon capture application on flue gas, the paper optimized the existing process, proposed and prepared nanofiber filter media, ultra-fine melt blown filter media, ultrafiltration membrane filter media, and static electricity double-effect filter media based on electret. By strengthening the filtration performance and electro adsorption assistance, the filtration accuracy and efficiency for fine particles have enhanced, improving the cleanliness of flue gas, and meeting the demand for direct carbon capture.
