The article examines the life of Greek immigrants in Kansas in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Also cited are some of the early Greek immigrants like professional wrestler Theodoros Yorgios Costakis, John Leon, and James Chumos, the consideration of Greeks as people of color in the state, as well as the Greek, Italian, and Mexican immigrants who worked in railroad construction projects in Kansas.
