The article discusses the 2013 Scott City Symposium that focused on the 1878 Battle of Punished Woman's Fork that was a focal point in the history of Kansas. Kansas artist Jerry Thomas talks about history of Cheyenne people as per the narrative by Northern Cheyenne descendants. The symposium explores the history of the Northern Cheyenne under the leadership of Chiefs Little Wolf and Dull Knife.
