The article discusses the role of education in address different social problems in developing countries. He examines the structure of education in developing countries such as India where in there was a high rate of teacher absenteeism due to the lack of standards and policies. It also mentions the willingness of parents to invest for the education of their children, however, the government's lack of support in education hinder such countries to improve further.
