- Title
The Fate of Certificate Programs.
- Authors
Bower, Richard
- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the requisition of a baccalaureate degree by adding computed tomography (CT) skills to the professional curriculum of radiologic technologists in the U.S. He insists that CT certification requires additional formal training and an advanced examination for evaluation. He indicates that one approach to support the baccalaureate degree at the professional level is to make proficiency in 2 or more disciplines a requirement for earning a bachelor's degree.
