- Title
'Insufficient' welfare training for vets.
- Abstract
The article reports that according to a survey, veterinary undergraduates receive insufficient training in animal welfare science and may wrongly equate food physical health with good welfare in Great Britain. According to Sean Wensley, a trustee of the British Veterinary Association Animal Welfare Foundation, there is now an imperative for all veterinary undergraduates to receive adequate training in animal welfare and welfare science in a veterinary school culture of welfare concern.
