- Abstract
The J-PARC E15 experiment has the aims to search for the simplest kaonic nuclear bound state, K pp, by the in-flight He( K, n) reaction. The exclusive measurement is performed by a simultaneous measurement of the missing mass using the knocked out neutron and the invariant mass via the expected decay, K pp → Λ p → pπ p. In this paper, an overview of the experiment and current data analysis of the engineering runs performed in February and June 2012 are presented.
