- Abstract
The article presents a study which determines the importance of fine-needle aspiration biopsy in evaluating lymphadenopathy in patients with Sezary syndrome and mycosis fungoides. It cites that T-cell receptor gamma chain polymerase chain reaction and flow cytometric immunophenotyping were performed in 11 fine-needle aspiration biopsy specimens. According to the results, two cases showed classic Hodgkin lymphoma involvement, which is diagnosed by immunohistochemistry on cell block material.
