- Abstract
The article discusses the study which examines the health lifestyles of women by clustering their similar behavior pattern. The subjects were 1,075 Israeli women aged 50 to 70 who have undergone a phone interview to analyze their health behaviors and perceptions. The study found three clusters of women health behavior which include "health promoting" cluster (44.1%), women adhering to recommended behaviors; "ambivalent" cluster (15.4%), women who enagge less in health-promoting behaviors than women in the health-promoting cluster, and "inactive" cluster (40.3%), women who exercise good health behavior much less often than women of the other two groups.
