- Title
Pluralism, Liberalism, and Distributive Justice.
- Authors
Crowder, George
- Abstract
The article presents the author's argument on the characterization of Ronald Dworkin of the pluralism of British philosopher Isaiah Berlin as indeterminate and paralyzing. He expounds his view on liberal pluralism, while emphasizing the implication of the notion of pluralism on value conflicts, hard choices and a set of normative principles. Moreover, he stresses his belief that the approach of a value-pluralist to distributive justice commends a program of egalitarian and redistribution.
