- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 41-year-old white male patient suffering from transient cerebral ischemic attacks affecting his right face and limbs with both motor and sensory deficit, and paroxysmal hypertension. The patient was diagnosed having bilateral carotid body tumors, an extra-adrenal paraganglioma, an adjacent ganglioneuroma, and abnormally high venous levels of catecholamines and calcitonin. The article has also discussed the significance of the case.
