- Abstract
The article presents a study on the dissipation of four forest-use herbicides at high latitudes in subarctic North America. The study primarily considers the growing of herbicides such as glyphosate, imazapyr, triclopyr and hexazinone to reforest cleared high lands in the continent. Specifically, it focuses on the dissipation of these herbicides despite the frigid climate. Detailed results of the study are posted showing the dissipation rates of the herbicides with respect to its microbial activity. The study further shows that these herbicides dissipate much in high latitudes during summer as they would in temperate climates, with no observable risks to human and animals.
