Nobel thoughts.
Abstract
The article reflects on the prominent role of methods in the Nobel prizes, and the need for the establishment of a Nobel Prize in biology in view of the continuing expansion of biological research. It discusses the dissatisfaction shown by chemists for awarding of prizes in chemistry to advances related to biology. It is opined that the dissatisfaction of some scientists can affect the support for the prizes and threaten the goodwill bestowed on science by Nobel Prizes.
