Abstract
The article focuses on the influence of Alfred Kinsey's sexual behavior studies on the data collection of the National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior (NSSHB). It discusses the key justifications for counting up sexual acts by Kinsey which include the need to address the interest of the general public and the documentation of all the sexual acts. It also adds that justifications aims to show people that nothing they did sexually was objectionable.
