- Abstract
The article explores the major considerations to be taken in the study and development of a course for tenth year science in vocational high school for mechanical, electrical and structural trades. The course will be motivated and developed in terms of actual devices and not gadget approach basing upon the three units; energy and its transformations, machines and the use of energy to make man's work easier and materials the mechanic must know and use to perform the work of the world. Furthermore, to have direction and at the same time be functional, the course requires a broad subject matter and multiple appeals partly based on the interests and needs of the students.
