- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of science education. Science is meant to change the living conditions of human beings. Pure science provides sources of knowledge. Applied Science has a practical objective. It carries research in soil science, animal breeding, disease control, meteorology, industrial physics, chemistry and geology. The technological research uses knowledge in developing and practicing techniques for the solution of immediate problems. Planning in science is almost impossible. The goal of science is gaining knowledge. But, Planning in technology in various fields like disease control, national defense, industrial development etc. should be directed. If science is the horse, Technology is the cart. In this area, the greatest responsibility is carried by science teachers, as teachers are among the most important manufacturers of public opinion.
