- Abstract
The article discusses the relationships between taekwondo training and competition. According to the author, taekwondo coaches and athletes will have to apply the training programs on scientific rules and research to help improve the performance. The taekwondo training is a systematic, long-term and progressive activity and being oriented to individuals directed to better the physiological actions to meet the requirements of high-performance competition. In this article, the relation between taekwondo training and competition is taken into account. An integrated model is also developed based on previous work by others to more fully appreciate the interdependence of training and competition.
