- Abstract
The article reports on the increase of family medicine match rate in the U.S. It highlights the data provided by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), which shows that the family medicine has attracted more graduating medical students in 2012 compared with 2011. It notes that 40 percent of the graduating students matched to primary care programs that include family and internal medicine, as well as pediatrics.
