- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on how culture and psychic distance affects the outward foreign direct investments (OFDI) of Chinese firms. It states that psychic distance was established to explain the aspects of internalization of the companies from developed countries to the Chinese firms. The result of the study suggests that psychic distance and its stimuli are the factors for Chinese OFDI which involves several concepts including economic development, religion, and culture.
