- Abstract
Layered Bi2SrTa2O9 was achieved by solid-phase synthesis and then cationic metalloporphyrin 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-yl) porphyrinato manganese (MnTMPyP), was intercalated into layered material Bi2SrTa2O9 by a guest-exchange method using n-PrNH+3-SrTa2O7 as a precursor. The new intercalation multicomposite MnTMPyP-SrTa2O7 was characterised using X-ray diffraction, infrared and scanning electron micrograph images. Moreover, the MnTMPyP-SrTa2O7 nanocomposite exhibited fine electrocatalytic activity towards oxygen reduction.
