- Abstract
This article compares the approaches to engineering ethics education at three technical universities and discusses current issues and future directions in the field. It explores the different methods of teaching ethics, such as mandatory and elective courses, as well as integrating ethical dimensions into the overall curriculum. The article emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach and the need for a comprehensive ethical framework in engineering. It also addresses the challenges at both the individual and structural levels, including engaging STEM students and integrating ethics into programs. The text concludes by highlighting the importance of considering non-Western approaches to ethics and the role of technology in TechDiplomacy.
