- Abstract
The article presents the results of an investigation focused on analyzing the risk factors for suicidal ideation associated with work in a bibliographic sample of 57 documents from Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, Proquest, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The research followed the hermeneutic method and categorical analysis. The results revealed that the suicide spectrum as a consequence of work is constantly denied, a denialist trend discouraging research on the subject. Besides, the data suggest that the suicidal spectrum is attributed exclusively to affective and psychopathological causes, although there are studies that negatively correlate emotional demands and organizational commitment. Finally, the work proposes elements to implement labor well-being strategies and future lines of research that promote the scientific contribution of the subject.
