- Abstract
The article focuses on the study of the chemical elements of rain in the peat area near the Moor House National Nature Reserve in Great Britain to determine its degree of ombrogeny. The study measured the nutrient elements brought rain in the peat area for years, and assessed the effects of birds, smoke, and other pollution. The results of the conducted research found six elements from the rain, including inorganic nitrogen, phosphorus, and magnesium. The results were also compared with independent measurements, and chemical inventories of peat bogs.
