- Abstract
The article provides information on the geographical and altitudinal distribution as well as the habitat of Corynephorus canescens. Corynephorus canescens comes from the tribe Aveneae that is usually found in Great Britain. This tribe grows vertically to 10 centimeter (cm) tall, tufted and with fibrous root system with no rhizome. Its leaf blades are inrolled, setaceous, rigid, scarbid and pungent, having the length from three to six cm long. It mentions that the Corynephorus canescens does not reach its climatic limit in Great Britain. The microclimate of the habitat is largely determined by substratum's sandy nature. Several tables focusing on the analysis of Corynephorus are also provided in the article.
