- Title
Cheating on research data -- Is it really worth it?
- Authors
Simonsen, Richard J.
- Abstract
The author comments on cheating on research data. He states that the falsification of research data is more of a problem than most people will admit. He mentions that data falsification is not limited to medical personnel. He argues that even though dishonesty in medical studies is liable to have more serious, life-or-death consequences than falsification of data in a dental study, physicians should be just as vigilant about information on which they base the treatment choices for their patients.
