- Abstract
The article presents information on a dental research study which examines the results of hydrochloric acid-pumice enamel surface abrasion technique for color modification. Under the study, six-month follow-up photographic documentation of ten treated patients was examined. The controlled hydrochloric acid-pumice abrasion method of enamel color correction involves stripping the enamel surface with pressure application of a hydrochloric acid-pumice mixture. According to the study, the hydrochloric acid-pumice abrasion method of enamel color modification should be considered as the first treatment choice in patients with enamel coloration defects.
