Can Elderly Hypertensives be Treated Effectively?
Abstract
The article focuses on a research in Pennsylvania which proved that older people with hypertension can be treated effectively. Stephen J. Peitzman and colleagues reported that nurse clinicians at the clinic evaluated and treated 35 elderly patients and 29 younger men. Study showed that the two groups revealed that the same level of success in controlling blood pressure was achieved.
