- Title
Cranial Changes Observed On Serial Posterior-Anterior Head Radiographs After Treatment with a May Splint. I. (I).
- Authors
Broderson, Stephen P.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the movement of cranium in occlusal treatment. It is stated that the concept of cranial bone movement should be considered by dentists when they undertake any treatment that alters the occlusion. The cranium acts as a protective armor for the brain, and also helps in the mechanism for cerebrospinal fluid circulation. It is stated that cranial changes can be observed on serial radiographs of head before and after May splint treatment; and these changes have significant effect on dental treatment.
