- Abstract
The article discusses the use of the compound-copper band impression technique for full dental crown preparation. The technique is selected to be used in the process due to its successful application with any die materials that include epoxy, stone, and copper plating. It highlights several instruments and supplies utilized in the technique including copper bands, small alcohol lamp, medium size towel clamp, and small unitek band contouring. It reveals that the technique has presented accurate, readable, and durable dies for the preparation.
