- Title
Influence of prey distribution on the functional response of lizards.

- Abstract
Foraging success, or the ability of predators to find and consume prey, is of great importance in understanding population dynamics and interactions between species. Often, predator foraging success is represented as a functional response, which is the relationship between the predation rate of a single predator and prey density. The shape of the functional response may be influenced by predator characteristics, such as predator age, sex, or behavior, prey characteristics, such as attractiveness or palatability or the spatial environment among other things.
